Two private cards, five shared cards

Each player receives two private cards. The small and big blinds create an initial pot. Preflop betting starts to the left of the big blind; heads-up, the dealer posts the small blind and acts first.

The flop reveals three shared cards, the turn a fourth and the river a fifth. Each street has a betting round. You may fold, check when nothing is owed, call, or raise. A short all-in may be legal even below the normal minimum raise.

At showdown, the best five cards from the seven available determine the winner. You may use zero, one or two private cards. A player who folds cannot win a pot. If everyone but one player folds, that player wins without showing cards.
